Ellie's Report about Wind Turbines

Do you know how wind is used to create energy? Well I will tell you…
In Ancient Egypt, people used wind to power their sailboats along the Nile river. The first windmills were used in Persia in today's middle east region about 1,500 years ago. Windmills in the olden days looked sort of like a egg beaters, and were mainly used by Persian people for grinding grains and and drawing water from wells. Today modern wind turbines are strong, sleek and well sorted for converting the force of wind energy.
