You need to guess what I am.

If I were a _____________

If I were a ___________ ,

I would neatly drop with a "pit pat" onto the roof

with all my friends following.

I would clutch onto the window pain without

a sound, but slowly lose my grip a slide to be

part of the over filled puddle on the window sill.

I would reach the pavement with a "splosh" to join others as we

wildly jump as if to the sky

as yellow feet push down on us.

But then of course the sun comes to ruin our fun,

and we silently disappear as if magicians.
